Hi, your ROG STRIX B250F gaming shows a red light in the bottom right corner and isn’t booting. The 24-pin lights are on while the GPU shows white, but the CPU area and RAM remain dark. Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B250-F Gaming CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 LGA 1151 RAM: G.SKILL TRIDENT Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3000MHZ GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Cooling: Thermaltake Water 3.0 360 ARGB Sync Edition I’ve replaced the RAM and verified the power connection, but the red light issue persists. Can you help resolve this?

This specification indicates compatibility with certain processors, but it doesn't confirm your specific model will work. Always verify with the latest documentation or manufacturer guidelines.

The CPU warning indicates incompatibility between the processor and motherboard. Use a compatible CPU with a B250 board here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu...ice&page=1 Or select a suitable motherboard for your i5-8400 here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/mot...sort=price

They don't work with your CPU. The motherboards from the 8th and 9th generation share the same socket, which is why installation went smoothly. However, they cannot be used together.
