Red indicator light on B650 AORUS ELITE AX
Red indicator light on B650 AORUS ELITE AX
I've been assembling my PC and finally got it powered on, but a red light is lit on the DRAM. I've checked the RAM slots, but I'm unsure if that's the problem. Since I don't have extra RAM sticks to test, it might be related to the DRAM itself. I also tried reseating the CPU, which had a blinking red light earlier, but that didn't seem to fix it. I haven't connected the video card or some cables linking the MOBO to the case. Let me know if those are the causes. IMG_3574.HEIC
Consider installing the video card first, then connect the cables. Fixing the cables beforehand could delay the process significantly, especially if you're not familiar with them.
Your system requires a BIOS update to accommodate the 7800X3D and B650 motherboard.
Your system supports Q-Flash BIOS Flashback, allowing you to update the BIOS without needing the CPU, memory, or graphics card installed. Adhere to the instructions and it should work smoothly. https://www.gigabyte.com/FileUpload/Glob...h_uefi.pdf
Sure, it looks like you've made the connections but are encountering an issue with the HDMI input not being recognized. It seems you've likely connected all the required cables correctly, yet the problem persists. Just to clarify, you mentioned having no video card or additional cables, so your setup might be fine otherwise.
