Red Dead Redemption 2 PC
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC
Hello, could you confirm if Red Dead Redemption 2 will run smoothly on your PC with an i5 7400, 8GB RAM, and a 1060 graphics card? I'm looking for around 50 to 60 frames per second from low to high settings, aiming for decent graphics without going for ultra aiming.
These are the details on the rockstars site:
You should be okay with medium-high settings around 50-60 FPS, though check the numbers from game developers for a more accurate idea.
I would suggest 60 frames per second on medium or low settings.
The system should face minimal difficulty achieving 50-60 fps when using medium to high settings.
It's similar to low to medium settings, but RDR2 is very challenging and shows optimization problems on nVidia Pascal chips.
It changes which aspects really affect performance. Many factors slow down the game but don’t noticeably change its appearance. I spent two hours adjusting my game settings, experimenting with all the AA, reflexion, volumetric lighting, and some minor tweaks. This could be useful.

Achieved steady 60fps using mostly high and ultra textures, with only small improvements in reflection, shadows, and other details. Disabled MSAA, which significantly reduced FPS, but kept TAA and FXAA at their maximum levels.
