Setting up a fresh build with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and installing it in an Asrock B650 Steel Legend Wi-Fi is the goal. The BIOS doesn’t support this processor, so I considered a flashback hoping it would resolve the solid red CPU light, but the issue persists. I’ve followed the latest and recommended bios from Asrock’s site. I checked the CPU orientation and bent pins—everything looks correct. My overall PC specs are: cooling system ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE, a 32 GB T-Create Expert (2x16 GB), DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM, MSI SPATIUM M482 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 drive, power supply rated at 12MW, GPU not installed yet, and the power button only powers on the PC. I’ve attached some photos for reference. Any advice on getting my system to boot would be invaluable. Thank you.

Yes, you followed the Flashback guidelines and changed the BIOS file name. It can be challenging, especially since the CPU LED was illuminated. Consider removing the RAM, cleaning any debris from the slots, and reinserting the sticks properly. Ensure all power connectors are fully seated. Verify that the RAM matches the QVL for your motherboard model. If everything appears correct, the board might be defective. Did you buy it recently?

I’ve completed all the flashback steps. I verified the RAM and confirmed there was no dirt or debris. All connectors are securely in place. The RAM isn’t on the QVL on this motherboard model—though many similar models with bigger sizes do have it, I’m not sure if that’s relevant. Everything was bought within the last month. I also double-checked for bent pins and proper CPU orientation. Thanks!
