I constructed a PC about a month ago with these details: Ryzen 5 7600 B650 Gigabyte Eagle ax 32 GB DDR5 6000 kingston 2 TB WD-Black RX 6750 XT Gigabyte 750W UD750GM PG5 3-pack Corsair RS120 argb in Corsair case. The issue began without any adjustments. Initially, it wouldn’t boot, but after turning off and restarting it, Windows loaded normally. It displays a red CPU indicator and the RGB menu is missing from GCC (Gigabyte Control Center). The solution involves updating the lighting controller firmware. Download the "GIGABYTE IT5701/5702 RGB lighting controller firmware upgrade package" from the provided link. Before proceeding, perform a Secure Boot and run the FLASH.bat file as an administrator to ensure no background processes interfere. After rebooting, it worked. I removed all RGB software temporarily and switched to OpenRGB for control. Also, turn off Dynamic Lighting on Windows 11 if unused, as it randomly changes screen colors.
I also discovered a workaround, though I sent the motherboard back two days prior to the issue. It's really frustrating. Updated: The repair center claimed I had downloaded a "Beta BIOS version" even though it came from their site, and they sent me my original board. After five weeks, I received the motherboard back, and the problem disappeared when I booted up my PC. Odd, but I still installed the utility driver as usual.
