Recurring visual issues in gaming persist across platforms and updates.
I’ve been experiencing repeated visual problems in games. You can observe it here: most of the time I see flickering textures, broken animations, and occasional issues with terrain or camera. The problem mainly impacts character models and changes in intensity, sometimes making the game unusable. It began roughly a year ago, appearing every few months for a few days before disappearing. This time it’s lasted over a week without improvement. I’ve tried adjusting graphics settings, but they don’t resolve the issue. Whether the game is light or heavy on visuals, the same glitches persist consistently. This points to a more fundamental cause rather than GPU load or configuration. Over the past few days I’ve done the following: GPU test confirmed it’s not the problem (my 4070 Ti works fine on another PC); I used a spare 4070 and replaced components like motherboard, PSU, cables, SSD, and even ran memory tests; Windows was clean, BIOS tweaks didn’t help, and I changed RAM settings. I also tried different PCIe slots, unplugged everything except the new SSD, disabled drivers, and adjusted BIOS settings. I’ve disabled overlays, background apps, and experimented with various configurations. My system specs are standard, but I’m still stuck. The only part that hasn’t changed is the CPU, yet the issue remains confined to games. I’m also curious if the case, grounding, or power delivery might be influencing stability. If anyone has encountered this before or has another approach I haven’t tried, your advice would mean a lot. I feel like I’m following a dead end right now.
I've checked Resizable BAR both on and off, and forced PCIe Gen3 in BIOS with no changes. I've performed several stress tests using OCCT and similar tools, and everything works smoothly with no errors or crashes. The problem only shows up in games, otherwise the system runs perfectly.
