Hello. I’ve been facing a stuttering problem in nearly every game I play, and I’ve been working on fixing it for almost a year. My system has a High Power 750W 80+ Gold power supply, and the remaining details are listed below. I’ve experimented with almost all the online suggestions—updating and rolling back GPU drivers (with and without Adrenalin), updating BIOS and chipset drivers, adjusting GPU overclock/underclock, swapping PSU cables, tweaking monitor settings, modifying mouse polling rates, fine-tuning each BIOS setting one by one with reboots, and using RivaTuner to cap FPS. The list continues. Still nothing has resolved the issue. The problem is most apparent during low frame rates—drops are sudden and severe, even in older titles. For instance, in a game running at 144 FPS, I’ll experience abrupt reductions to just 1, 5, or 10 FPS. I’m currently playing Code Vein and logging data with HWiNFO. Some might say the game isn’t well optimized, but I feel the same stuttering across almost every title I try—God of War, Far Cry 6, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Jurassic World Evolution, Genshin Impact, GTA V, Hogwarts Legacy, Palworld, Lost Ark, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, and more. Regardless of the game, the frame timing graph reveals consistent stutters, particularly in certain scenarios. At this stage, I’m running out of energy. I just want a seamless gaming experience, but this challenge is making me consider giving up PC gaming for good and moving to a console. I’d really appreciate any advice or insights you could provide. Thanks in advance. code vein_hwinforecord.CSV

Have you attempted a fresh GPU driver setup via DDU? Did you consider a complete Windows reinstall instead of just resetting it?

I experimented with various driver updates while running DDU in safe mode. I also added both Windows 10 and Windows 11 from the ground up. Still, nothing worked.

The problems began when you constructed the device. A recent enhancement introduced them, or perhaps they emerged unexpectedly?

I owned a GX980 Ti a year prior, then I upgraded my GPU to a GTX 6600. The issue was present before the GPU change, but I lacked the expertise to analyze the data using tools like Rivatuner. After switching the GPU, I realized the problem had changed.

This indicates the GPU remains stable across multiple GPUs, suggesting the hardware is functioning properly. Upon reviewing your HWinfo upload, I observed the CPU clock speed consistently locked at 4000mhz, which may point to an unstable overclock. Resetting the BIOS appears to be a viable next step. To reset, detach the CMOS battery (located beneath and left of your CPU, above the GPU), wait approximately 10 seconds, then reinsert it. After rebooting, check for any changes in performance.

Thank you for your message. I’ve completed what you requested, but the problem persists. I also added various games and attempted again, yet the issue remains unchanged.
