I've been getting consistent crashes every 2 weeks for seemingly no reason? No BSOD, the display(s) instantaneously turn black and the PC boots up on its own in a couple of seconds. I would assume it's not a PSU issue, since power is never cut off. I have recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3500X to a Ryzen 9 5900X, so it might be related to that since my experience with this CPU since upgrading hasn't been exactly smooth. Pictured is the weirdly consistent error log of crashes and also the errors right after a crash. If anyone has any idea what could be causing this then please respond, I'd be glad to hear your ideas.

I stumbled upon the post while searching elsewhere, and I needed specific details about certain Kernel-Power events instead of WHEA events. The WHEA issue seems likely to be a CPU hardware problem, but decoding it is quite challenging. Having a backup from other error sources would be helpful.
Apologies for the delay in responding or tagging you earlier, and for the incorrect error log you shared. The issue reoccurred a week ahead of schedule, which is concerning. Additionally, I received a BIOS CPU overheating warning after the system rebooted once it powered on. According to HWMonitor, temperatures were just below 90°C (only CCD #0 hit 90.0°C), but they gradually decreased to around 60°C afterward because the system didn’t take action. I’ve also attached a kernel pnp 219 error, which appears alongside the kernel power error: kernelpower.evtx kernelpower old.evtx kernel pnp 219.evtx.
If it restarts during gameplay or under heavy CPU use, that's typical behavior. It doesn't realize it was a restart; it assumes the CPU reached the temperature in 1-2 seconds when it powers on. That threshold is far lower than real-world overheating levels like 60-70°C, so it shouldn't shut down at that point. My main concern would be a defective CPU. You might want to adjust cooling settings, but I doubt that's the root cause. You could also check for known issues with certain 5000 series processors and their voltage settings. Three possible steps are worth trying: first, ensure Precision Boost Overdrive is disabled in the BIOS (this automatic overclocking isn't always welcome). Second, adjust the actual voltages—use a small voltage offset of +0.050v for both cores and SoC. If this doesn’t fix the problem, then a faulty CPU is likely the issue.
