Every day, while using my laptop, I watch videos, play games or work on it. My screens fade to black briefly, then return to normal. After a short pause they’re back to normal again. On my second monitor, a large black box appears. It disappears when I lock the laptop or restart it. I also experience slow performance for about 10 to 20 seconds after these events. This is really frustrating. When a game freezes because the monitors go dark, it often causes crashes too. Do you know if there’s a solution?

It might be due to a faulty graphics driver. Consider upgrading it first.

I refresh my NVIDIA graphics driver each time a new version appears. Yet I don’t update my Radeon drivers since the AMD tools flag an incorrect installation, forcing me to restart the software and driver every few days. Is there a solution to this issue?
