Hey there! After the rollback, you used the HP recovery partition to get back to factory win 7. Midway through, it reported a file name issue and then an "invalid package" error. You clicked OK, rebooted, and everything seemed okay. Are you worried about anything?

It should work, you can attempt using CCleaner to resolve any registry issues.

It's unusual that it stopped halfway. Would you like me to send your work again? After cleaning, what additional steps should I take? If problems arise later, I'll handle the repair from the DVD.

It might be better to skip it right now. The extra effort isn’t worth it if the OEM key could fail. Everything seems fine so far.

I'm proceeding regardless to ensure safety. If it fails, I'll revert using the recovery partition again. Does my OA license at the bottom of the laptop trigger a SP1 DVD installation for the same edition?

It will set up the identical version it was shipped with, then upgrade to the most recent release.
