Hey everyone! My friend purchased a cheap SSD drive on Amazon for around 30€, but it turned out to be fake. It was just an USB-C to USB-B adapter with a built-in USB stick inside the case. His girlfriend later copied some of their photos onto it, making it unusable. I had to open the case to access the stick, but when I tried to read it on macOS, Ubuntu, and Windows PCs, it was completely dead—no sign of life. I’m reaching out for suggestions on how to fix or recover it. Thanks in advance! Scoosys
