Hello everyone, I just purchased a new prebuilt desktop that should be delivered by the end of February. I’m planning to format my old desktop to sell it, but I don’t want to lose the Windows key. I’m wondering if it’s possible to activate Windows using the same key without linking it to my Microsoft account. If not, can I still recover the key so I can use it on my laptop? Since my desktop has a Windows Pro key and my laptop a Home key, I’d appreciate your advice. Thanks! Gerry
