What was included with your motherboard (such as ASUS AI Suite)?

I usually rely on MSI Afterburner, yet it only manages GPU fan rates.

I usually rely on the software for the specific motherboard or graphics card (like Asus AI Suite for Asus boards or MSI Command Centre for MSI boards). SpeedFan works well for some systems but it's best to test it with your board. MSI Afterburner supports fan speed control on most graphics cards, though proceed with care. For tracking system temps, I suggest HWMonitor, Realtemp, or HWiNFO32/64. Realtemp may face compatibility problems, HWMonitor is versatile, but HWiNFO offers more detailed data. You can also use the tools mentioned earlier for monitoring. This should help you out.

They provide tools for both platforms. Choose Speedfan for both or go with temp monitoring options like RealTemp, CoreTemp, HWmonitor, OpenHardwareMonitor, HWiNFO, and MSI Afterburner.

Yeah, Speedfan is a bit outdated and not very intuitive, but it's the only one I understand that lets you manage case fans based on GPU temperature – really impressive. You get the best airflow when you need it and can keep fans spinning at low RPM during idle. HWInfo is handy for tracking data, too, and it works without installation, which is great if you just want to glance at something.
