Hey there! After Zen 3 came out, I decided to upgrade my CPU for better gaming performance. Right now I’m using PCs for CS:GO and Call of Duty: Warzone, but I’m running into issues when multitasking. My CPU hits 100% during Warzone, and background apps like Discord freeze or stop working. I usually get around 70 FPS in Warzone, with long pauses of about a second or two. My CS:GO FPS drops when enemies appear more. I’m on a 144Hz monitor and think upgrading to 240Hz could help CS:GO. I’m using an Nvidia GTX 1060, Intel i5 7400, and have 6GB RAM. I’m also planning to replace my RAM with HyperX Fury 2x8GB DDR4 at 3600MHz. I’m curious—would a Ryzen 5 5600X help? Could it improve both gaming performance and background tasks? Thanks!
