Hi All
I’m looking for suggestions on video conference solutions that fit small to medium meeting rooms with 4 to 8 participants. The space already has TVs, USB cameras, microphones, speakers, and an HDMI cable, though the cables are tangled on the table. This clutter often discourages people from setting up due to its complexity, and even when set up, it can be difficult to get working because Windows may not automatically select the right devices. Our CEO is frustrated with this situation and is seeking a straightforward option—either wireless or using just one cable. The budget isn’t the main concern; he’s already quoted £25k for a room by a professional installer. If that price seems excessive, he might be willing to accept lower video quality in exchange for simplicity. Our top priority is ease of use.
I’ve been exploring several options and the ones that stand out so far are:

This option includes a camera and may work wirelessly, though it requires a dongle. Another possibility is Microsoft Wireless Display adapters paired with WiDi, which our laptops support, allowing a single cable for existing cameras.
Are there other approaches or recommended setups you’ve encountered that perform well despite these technical challenges?

We have been purchasing the Poly Studio for our conference rooms. You can obtain the controller. Wireless sharing is possible by initiating a call from the room, receiving one invitation, followed by another to the laptop user who then shares the screen into the meeting.
