Hey everyone, I’m trying to boost the WiFi coverage in my home. We have an AT&T Uverse with a TP-Link Archer A7 AC1750, and I recently flashed OpenWRT on it. One area has strong signal while another is very weak. The house is about 2200 sq ft, so I’m looking for ways to improve coverage across the whole space. Anyone have ideas for a mesh Wi-Fi setup?

Few years ago I put a Netgear Orbi system in my parents place. Base and one satellite and its been great. The dedicated 5Ghz backhaul + Ethernet ports on the satellite's are great.

It's interesting! My mom read about the Google Mesh Wi-Fi setup and wanted to know what she thought.

I've heard of it, but never tried it.

I also have friends who use a nest Wi-Fi, it's very reliable and easy to configure.

My sister owns the previous release. I noticed the limited control felt a little concerning. It functions as intended.

It's something I'm concerned about specifically. I don't want everything to be overly restricted, especially with my home media server already online and my IoT devices kept separate.

It's actually an app that needs to be installed on your phone. The information available was extremely limited, and it didn't leave a strong impression.
