Hi everyone, I’m searching for a reliable and affordable laptop suitable for my wife’s personal device. She works as an architect and handles some design tasks outside of regular work. She’s seeking:

1. Windows or PC operating system (software preference leans toward Windows)
2. At least 1TB SSD storage
3. Minimum 32GB of RAM
4. A dedicated graphics card with a minimum of 4GB
5. Intel 13th gen i7/i9 or AMD 7000 series (minimum 7 or 9)
6. Approximately 15-inch display size
7. Preferably a model without colored LEDs, or at least one that allows turning them off for a cleaner look. She values a professional appearance.
8. Budget around $1500, ideally under $1000 if possible. Since her current machine isn’t up to the task, these specifications are important.

Any details about make or model would be greatly appreciated.

Dell G16, Asus ROG Strix G15, Dell G15
Sadly for your wife, most laptops today come with RGB lighting...
But I think those RGB effects can be disabled.
I’d choose the Dell G16 or the Asus model mainly because of their superior GPUs.
The Dell G16 also offers the top CPU among the three, making it the best overall.
So in short, Dell G16 is better than Asus ROG Strix G15 and Dell G15.

Consider the Dell XPS 15 series if you're worried about the appearance of a gaming laptop. I set it up according to your needs, but it includes a 6GB GPU and costs 1,749 US dollars.
