Hey, I just purchased an RTX 3070 at a great price and am now thinking about upgrading other parts too. I'm focusing on the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and CPU cooler. Storage, monitor, power supply, and other components aren't on my radar for now. My goal is to ensure the CPU doesn’t become a bottleneck for the GPU, using the best budget options available.

I selected the motherboard while looking for the best MOBO to match with the i5-12600k and RTX 3070, and it was suggested to go with the Z690, so I picked one on the more affordable side. I’m open to changing to a B series if needed.
I won’t be doing any overclocking.
You have various options to stay under 500. Perhaps a 13400 and DDR5? Or a 13500 and DDR4? 16 or 32 GB RAM is an option. Coolers are a bit better than the Hyper 212. An MATX case instead of ATX might work. The choice depends on where you allocate your budget above 400. Different opinions are possible depending on your needs. Are you often reminded of the term "benchmarks"?
