I was considering doing that, but wasn't certain. Unless I run each psu on two different house circuits, though the extension cord might be a problem.

Unless there are two circuits in the same area, it's probably not safe to run on just two.

The issue is that you're discussing a fairly long-term setup with regular use. I recommend sticking to a power strip or UPS and using the PSU power cable only, possibly combining about 12 feet in total.

Sure, I might be able to create a custom extension cord by using genuine house wire and even smaller gauge wire with quality connectors, though this is taking us into some unconventional ground.

I dont know why, but every full tower case listed in your link is not available. No stock anywhere. It seems anything with a dual psu is not available.
