I understand that North American wall outlets have a maximum of 1800 watts, which is why many PSU models cap at 1600-1650 watts. However, I need 1800 watts since 1600 is insufficient for my setup. I'm constructing a server workstation with multiple GPUs and other parts like HDDs, SSDs, fans, and a disc burner. First, I see that mining PSUs are very affordable compared to the 1600 watt range, yet they are still rated as high-performance units. What value am I giving up by choosing such units? Can anyone suggest a PSU suitable for a Threadripper workstation?

Seasonic and two Super Flower units operate at 230V only.
Silverstone unit supports 120V but is capped at 1650W.
For a single PSU configuration, you'll need a voltage transformer to increase the 120V to 220-240V.
On 120V, pair two units such as 1.2kW or 1.6kW and run them together. For example, one PSU can handle the motherboard/CPU while another manages the GPU, and a second PSU can supply 2-3 GPUs.
As far as I understand, mining PSUs only provide +12V, which is sufficient for the rest of the system (motherboard, RAM, SSD, etc.). This results in a more affordable alternative compared to standard consumer PSUs.
If 1600W isn't sufficient, then 1800W probably isn't the best option either. It's not advisable to run any PSU close to its maximum for long periods. Without knowing your specific hardware plans, I believe Aeacus is the right choice regarding needing a higher voltage outlet wired. For multiple power supplies that support them, such options are becoming less common today. The only one that comes to mind immediately is the O11 series.
Is there any chance the Phanteks Enthoo Pro TG is compatible with a dual PSU setup, possibly as a dual board system? It seems designed for E-ATX or SSI-EEB cases. I'm looking for a Threadripper system. Also, can this case provide connections to start both PSUs without requiring both to be connected to the motherboard at once—like running one PSU normally and another mining PSU on a single board?
Also check out the Phantek Enthoo Pro 2 – it seems to have dual PSUs, but this particular case is tough to locate and might cost more than the TG model. I’m not sure if the TG case supports the larger GPUs with the 3.5" drive bays inside.
You seem really confused about this 1800W unit. What exactly are you trying to run? It's not safe to push the full capacity of a 15-amp circuit, especially near the PSU's maximum. On any regular circuit, you shouldn't exceed about 80% of its load. The PSU mentioned is probably capped at 1500W for safety reasons. Either you're unsure about your components' power needs or you're aiming to overload your wiring, which could cause a fire.
I'm trying to set up a workstation with several GPUs and other parts, needing power for 8k or 12k video editing. The calculator suggested a minimum of 1800 watts up to 2000 watts for the GPUs I chose.
