I'm testing this setup Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 16GB MSI A320M PRO-VH PLUS AMD RYZEN 7 1700 3.7GHZ with Ubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.15.7-custom and the newest BIOS. There are many issues I'm facing—random kernel errors and crashes that really frustrate me. The machine hasn't restarted in over eight days. I'm wondering if Threadripper support might help.
I've worked with similar projects and am testing on Gentoo and Arch. This system feels perfect for me—compiling is quick, not lengthy.
