I’m organizing my upcoming project with a $10k AUD budget.
My goals are to avoid major upgrades for at least a couple of years and to maximize the number of components, especially those with display features.

Hardware plans:
Processor: Ryzen 9 7950X3D
Cooler: Asus ROG Ryujin III ARGB
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X670E-E
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 128 GB (4x32 GB) DDR5-5600 CL40
Storage: Samsung 870 8TB 2.5 SSD, Samsung 990 Pro 4TB M.2
GPU: Gigabyte Aorus Master GeForce RTX 4090 24GB
Case: Hyte Y70 Touch
Cooling: Uni Fan TL LCD
Power Supply: Asus ROG THOR 1600W 80+ Titanium

Main focus will be gaming and YouTube, with an emphasis on getting as many parts as possible.

A similar option would be suitable. You can always incorporate another high-density storage SSD later to add more components that align with your current needs, which helps you fit better matched parts within the budget. You won’t require 128 GB of RAM for any game or amount of YouTube content over the next decade. I included a quicker yet still dense G Skill RAM package (2x48). The Crucial 705 NVMe SSD performs better than the Samsung 990 Pro in certain tasks. The ASUS GPU I selected integrates more smoothly and comes with an LCD display. You won’t need to install extra RGB software if you stick with the ASUS line. Regarding the PSU, you won’t need a 1600W unit, so there’s no necessity to invest heavily in that specific power supply. The 1200W platinum PSU looks identical and allows room for additional components within your budget.

After some research and reflection, you're correct that keeping everything Asus might be beneficial. However, since the LC Gaming 4090 is no longer available, I don't have any option to obtain one here. I can, though, get the BTF Asus 4090 which will better suit my needs and still provide some RGB options. I'm giving up the LCD screen, but after reviewing the Gigabyte software it's not such a big deal. The rest of your suggestions are also excellent.

Built around the Hyte Q60 cooler with display. Top mounting is the only location possible. Might have to go with push pull config if the hose is short.
GPU has a small display, so does the fans. Mobo comes with 10 gig ethernet if you are interested.
