Recommend Me a MP Shooter
I used to enjoy playing a lot of Call of Duty, but I don't want to spend $80 on a new one or an older version. Are there any comparable shooters with similar fast matches around 10 minutes? Ideally on Steam, and I'd prefer to avoid games like Battle Royale.
Eh, I've played PUBG & others, but I'm not a huge fan of that kinda game type

Played a lot of TF2 a few years back, but a lot has changed since then.
Yes, lots of balance changes and graphics upgrades, and it's a shame you missed scream fortress, it was awesome this year. Hopefully smissmass brings some good new content, I foresee new heavy weapons guy loadouts.
Regular player, it's noticeably different now. Pyro and Medic have undergone significant updates to their base weapons (Flame Thrower's spread is more stable while the Medi Gun lets you move at the player's pace if they're faster), several weapons have been altered (the Sandman is now almost ineffective while the Ambassador has been heavily nerfed, making headshots from half the map much harder), and numerous new maps have been introduced. King of the Hill remains the top game mode.
