I apologize for bringing up a subject that's been frequently discussed, but given the variety in system configurations and the fact that no solution has helped me, it might be worth reflecting on it myself. I recently received a second set of the identical memory I had two years ago—specifically the Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB), totaling 32 GB. After installation, the first time I booted, it looped, so I replaced them and then the system started normally with BIOS recognizing the increased capacity. In Windows 10, the extra RAM is reserved for hardware, and all the fixes I've tried either didn't work or failed to resolve the issue.

My current specs are: AORUS AX370-GAMING 5 on BIOS T51d, Ryzen 1700 @ 3.7 GHz (noticing the first-gen struggles with 3200 MHz, the RAM was clocked at 2933 MHz a few months back, and it still causes bottlenecks for the GPU). I have two sets of this Corsair memory at 2933 MHz, along with my original 16 GB. My system runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

I've enabled memory management and adjusted the maximum RAM on boot, but other suggestions I've seen seem outdated or irrelevant. The pagefile adjustment doesn't appear to matter much to me, though I did set a 10 GB file two years ago without needing changes. It's unclear what else I can try—since the RAM was repositioned recently for troubleshooting and no BIOS tweaks have changed. I'm uncertain about other options, but I appreciate any guidance you can offer.

I tried to reinstall Windows on a new 970 Evo Plus M.2 SSD with extra RAM, but after five hours it didn’t work. Eventually, all the 32GB RAM was functioning normally in regular Windows 10, which is unusual. I’m confused about what happened and don’t know why it fixed itself.
