Observed recent titles such as control, outriders, Warzone, and metro exodus appear somewhat unclear, with noticeable anti-aliasing. Some games seem crisp, like re8 in Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy. I also sometimes see texture blurring or screen distortion during motion, but when paused it looks normal—likely similar to how DLSS functions, though disabled. It seems this might be typical for TAA or other AA approaches now. I don’t see a distinct pattern beyond these effects.

Also verify the Render Resolution setting. It often defaults to 80% even when your rig supports 4K at 60fps. Values below 100 seem unusual, particularly with a high-quality monitor.

Some contemporary titles appear pixelated. Whenever I see this, I enjoy taking screenshots. Here is Control. Only at 4k with no DLS and rendered at 4k it looks great, but I’m limited to a 3080 ti now. It seems they aimed for the Ektachrome 400 style, though it only shows up clearly at 1440p and higher. In comparison, Assassin's Creed Odyssey maintains quality across all resolutions.
