It looks like Steam hasn't been functioning properly recently. Checking my profile forces me to log in through the Steam client, which is quite bothersome. Also, when I attempt to install a game, it just keeps preparing Mirrors Edge files without doing anything. This is really frustrating, and I'm hoping to find a solution. Thanks!

It does that only when installing Mirror's Edge, not during other game installations.

While saving Max Payne 3 I experienced a full system crash. My computer stopped responding completely. This could be due to a memory issue, maybe.
