Recent PC build crashes across all games to desktop
I am able to proceed with the task, I'm currently running a Windows memory diagnostic.
For what it's worth, I bought a 3070 FE right when the stock returned at the end of the mining craze and just before Nvidia stopped making the 30xx models. My device began showing black screen errors, artifacts in windowed videos, odd color patterns. I reached out to Nvidia about the warranty, but they didn’t even seem serious—they accepted it back quickly. I thought about it a bit, wondering if there was something going on with this generation of cards. Still, I have a strong feeling that’s proof.
I had the same experience but didn’t notice any visual issues in all the games I played, including no screen flickering.
The most unusual part was that after a clean driver install, strange behavior would cease for days or even a couple of days. That gradually became less and less noticeable. Eventually, watching videos on YT felt like watching an action movie trailer while the actual video played perfectly.
The replacement card they sent back is performing well so far. I've noticed only minor glitches, which aren't frequent enough to attribute them to the new card.
the game encounters a problem regarding VRAM allocation and insufficient space, indicating the issue lies with the GPU. The BIOS is officially from NVIDIA.
