Hello everyone, I'm facing some issues with Battlefield 1 Multiplayer. The singleplayer works well. Initially, the game ran smoothly at 80-100 fps for a few months, but after installing Windows 10 Creators Update, it stayed okay for a while longer. Eventually, performance declined steadily, and restarting helped briefly, though the problem returned. After reinstalling Windows 10, things improved temporarily, but then frame rates dropped back to around 40 fps or lower, making aiming difficult and causing micro stutters. Battlefield 4 is running perfectly, with smooth mouse control and no FPS warnings, while Battlefield 1 is often unresponsive. I've tried various fixes—registry edits, disabling Gamebar, adjusting settings, using different RAM, updating drivers, and even switching to dual-channel RAM—but nothing stabilizes it. Some forum users suggested the issue might be with my RAM or PSU, and I considered upgrading components. However, running an OCCT Power Supply test showed high CPU usage and FPS drops around memory saturation. The specs are decent, but I'm stuck without budget for a full upgrade. It's been about half a year since the problem started, and I'm really frustrated.

Restarting Windows seems to be the plan. Make sure to back up your current system before proceeding.

Single-player works, but multiplayer seems to be the main issue—possibly due to an ISP or network problem. Is the CPU usage high because of the game itself? Have you looked into the task manager for any causes?

The high CPU usage comes mainly from the game itself. Before the memory fills up, performance stays stable with normal frame rates. After about 30 seconds, once memory reaches its limit, CPU usage spikes sharply and both frame rate and timing drop significantly. This pattern is similar to what I saw in Battlefield 1 after those initial smooth moments. Check the OCCT graphs in the .zip file I shared at the end of my post (05-32.zip). It seems there might be an issue with my hardware, as changing Windows versions didn’t fix it. I’m unsure which component is affected and would appreciate help narrowing it down to save money on replacements. EDIT: I have reliable internet and my ping stays under 50. Battlefield 4 runs well in MP.

You're doing great on the GeForce forums. It looks like your PSU isn't delivering enough power to the 12V rail. The new PSU you ordered should resolve the issue—this thread is now closed. Appreciate your patience.

The team struggled after the latest DLC, especially during high-scoring moments. It seems the stuttering is connected to the updated tasks.

I believe the newest update or DLC is related, as I've noticed the same problem. I upgraded my RAM from 8 to 16 expecting it to fix the issue, but it didn't. The latest apocalypse DLC maps, particularly Caporetto, seem to cause stuttering.
