Despite some of best looking pre release streams of any game I've ever seen now its out the performance of JC3 on PC is really really bad. It suffers from all the widely reported issues the PS4 version suffers from including FPS tanking when theres a lot going on and long load times however it also suffers from a fairly decent chunk of PC specific issues to. For example if you want to change the resolution then you must use a text editor and manually edit the config file as adjusting it ingame cause an instant crash (for a lot of users, not everyone). Playing the game above 1080p causes sub menu items to act wierd and display in the top right corner of the screen instead of next to the menu item they relate to. ALT & TAB is a no no to, it either 1) Instantly crashes your game or 2) Switches to borderless windowed mode and will not go back to fullscreen without quitting the game and relaunching it. So far I've got over an hour playtime and I am yet to actually launch the game. I am just about to press Start after I finished posting this article. It has been suggested that Avalanche Studios actually send entire PCs out to reviwers with ultra specific hardware inside them in order for reviweres to show gameplay that was running as decently as possible, now obviously I cannot say if this is true or not but if it does turn out to be true then thats a really bad dick move from them and shows catagorically that they knew full well how bad this game was and actively lied to consumers in order to boost sales. I can't provide any sources as this is compiled entirely from my own experiences and digging through pages upon pages of negative reviews and posts over on SPUD. TO MODS - In order to try and back this up with some actual evidence I will update this post with any reviews I can as soon as they become available, both positive (yeah right) and negative to give some balance.

You cannot supply any references, despite having reviewed numerous negative reviews. The links are not provided.

Seems like you're thinking of a Bethesda title.

Seems like early feedback suggests solid performance. Totalbiscuit mentions maintaining steady 60fps even in ultra settings using their 980tis.

Wow, it's really frustrating. Running at 60fps with 980 Ti cards in SLI is disappointing. A game that uses two 980 Ti cards should be hitting around 120fps. Why are we needing such expensive monitors or 4K resolution then? It seems like games aren't being optimized much these days. It looks like you'd need over $1200 just for the GPU to play a game that costs about $60. That's pretty cool, right?

Strange was checking out TBs video this morning and everything worked well. Hope it functions properly for me since TB usually tests the game port, which is unusual this time. It might just be because he didn’t feel like doing it or wasn’t in good health. He may consider running another port report later, as those reports are already available.

Reports have been overwhelmingly positive, though a few users have encountered problems with AMD.

TB's version worked on one of his cards because he said there was no SLI support at the time it was recorded. He probably didn't mention the frame rate either.
