Hello there, friends. I just installed a new motherboard and CPU combo (MSI MEG z490 ACE with an i5 10600). When I powered it up, I heard a faint scratching static noise on the back near the CPU area. It’s almost silent in BIOS but becomes noticeable in Windows. I recorded a video to show where it comes from. You can check it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfPykfqX...e=youtu.be. Everything seems to be working normally—CPU runs at 28°C idle, 60°C under stress tests, and it boots up without issues after restarting in BIOS. Still, the noise bothers me a lot and I’m worried it might cause damage. I’ve tried changing SSDs, PSU, and RAM even though the second RAM slot didn’t boot. No changes in BIOS settings have helped either. Anyone know what this sound is? It’s not something I’ve encountered in my AMD builds before.
