Hello everyone, welcome as a new member! Just upgraded recently, almost everything changed except the hard drive, case, and power supply. Right now I’m facing a problem: when I power on, I see a bright orange light from the motherboard and it restarts quickly without issues. Also, I can’t boot from Windows—just the same orange light appears, but it doesn’t restart. Here are my current specs: Ryzen 5 3600, ASUS B450-F Strix M.2, Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz DDR4, ASUS Strix OC GTX 1080 Ti, Thermaltake Smart 750W PSU, 500GB SSD (OS), 500GB NVMe M.2 (games), 3TB 7200RPM HDD (storage). All listed items are the ones I just added. I have XMP enabled and the CPU is capped at 4.2GHz at 1.35V. I’m unsure if I should use AI Tweaker in BIOS or the advanced “AMD Overclock” option. I’ve tried various fixes but nothing worked. Some notes: I can’t overclock RAM, even with DRAM Calc and tighter timings at 3200MHz didn’t help. There’s occasional micro stutter during boot-up in games—just a few times per session, not a big problem, but it was unexpected before. I updated the BIOS right after installing the new motherboard, hoping it would solve the issue. Thanks for any advice—I’ll do my best to assist!

ASUS indeed uses orange for the RAM debug light, which suggests a potential RAM issue. Consider increasing your SoC voltage to 1.125V to test its effect. Additionally, the ASUS BIOS can be quite unusual—ideally, you should configure the desired settings in both the AMD overclocking menu and the main OC tweaker menu.

Thanks! I'll definitely try it once I'm back on my PC.

Unsuccessful so far. Could end up dismantling parts and putting RAM back in place.

Fixed the problem! It seems the latest BIOS helped, and now rebooting works fine. Ready to check if I can overclock the RAM.
