On Windows 7, the "Recent" section appears when you right-click Steam in your taskbar. Team Fortress 2 and the Left for Dead add-on service show up there occasionally, even though they aren’t installed. I don’t play those games and haven’t installed them myself. It’s been happening for a while, but I ignored it before. Now it keeps bothering me. Thank you.

Could there be another user on your Steam account with someone else playing? That seems most likely. If not, I have no idea. It’s unusual.

They mentioned that games you recently purchased appear in the list, but the section isn't working properly. For me, it's a serious sam game that keeps showing up even though I haven't played it. No need to be concerned.
