I upgraded my ROG STRIX B550-F to version 3002 and saw a noticeable boost in performance, especially with Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p ray tracing. The jump from around 60 FPS to 90 was impressive. The BIOs update didn’t seem substantial enough to explain the improvement. What do you think?

I understood the recent AGESA update enhanced gaming speed, though I was told "up to 5% in some cases" rather than a full 50% increase. Could you confirm if your configurations remain unchanged? BIOS updates often reset settings, so you may need to restart or restore from a saved profile.

I activated XMP and that's the only adjustment I made from the standard when assembling the system.

The only aspects that should have shifted after that, aside from the AGESA update, are if your motherboard supported CPU do memory training once more, or if Asus adjusted their default sub-timings more aggressively, or if your earlier memory training performed poorly and resulted in suboptimal values, possibly both. Even then, at most, I wouldn't anticipate more than a 10% performance boost from improved AGESA code and tighter sub-timings—10% would be significant. Are you confirming that you run Cyberpunk in the same configuration with identical settings? It might simply be that the game section you're playing isn't as challenging.
