Someone, have you encountered problems installing a P3 Plus M.2 2 drive in your laptop? I own an Acer Nitro 5 An517-51 with a 500GB P3 Plus M.2 1TB and a 4TB M.2 2TB. I've been attempting to install a brand new 4TB M.2 drive but keep facing kernel security errors. I've updated the BIOS, chipset, Windows, essential drivers, and nothing resolves the issue. I've used both 500GB drives in the M.2 slots, and they work fine, but the 4TB appears in BIOS only. I've also tried two different 4TB drives, both causing the same problem. Can you help?

Switch the SATA configuration to AHCI for better compatibility. Your Crucial M2 handles RST without any performance issues.

You can try adjusting your system settings or using a third-party tool to access more information from your laptop's BIOS.

This was an absolute highlight! I kept missing this part multiple times, but the crucial step 2 didn’t even ask me to modify it. After changing it, the drive booted up and I was able to initialize and format it! Thanks!

I sent back the defective SSD to a PC workshop and received it back. I’ll purchase a replacement because I also have many Bsod drives. I also own an Acer PC. Thank you for your advice.
