Receiving numerous alerts PCI Express Root Port ID 17
I discovered something interesting, though it might be a bit complex for me to grasp. By searching my device details, I opened the Event Viewer and saw a similar message about a Samsung Evo SSD.
it seems x570 models face problems handling PCIe slots. Since M.2 uses PCIe X4, this puts extra strain on the M.2 slot as well. For now, switch from PCIe 4.0 to 3.0 until a patch is released. Continue using standard Windows drivers for ROMs and storage until Samsung updates their drivers. There was a similar issue with the x570 when it launched—it wasn’t properly sending images with Ryzer PCIe cards, possibly due to bandwidth limits. It appears this is more related to an NVidia and AMD driver concern, including Samsung drivers as well. Generally, changing to PCIe 3.0 won’t cause performance issues. Stick with Windows drivers for your GPU and install the latest updates.
You should change all your PCI slots to 3.0. It’s better to standardize rather than just switch one at a time.
I refreshed my bio to the newest release, ensuring no mistakes or warnings appear. It seems I might have used a trick or maybe just luck—I didn’t get them liked instantly before. Thanks to everyone who helped and shared their advice; you’re the MVP! Hopefully it stayed updated.
