Receiving a game from G2A to your Steam account doesn’t automatically make your account fully functional. Since Steam requires a $5 minimum purchase, a G2A gift may not count unless you meet that threshold.

I received my Steam account prior to this set limit, though I think you should have spent the funds before your account became official.
