You need to reinstall Windows using your new key. Simply follow the standard installation process, adding the key during setup rather than replacing the entire system. A full reinstall may be necessary if issues persist.

I've tried that already, but it causes an issue. When I asked the supplier about it, they mentioned their keys aren't compatible with upgrades.

Perform a standard reinstall from your current operating system, ensuring you back up any important data beforehand.

It didn't work as expected—it triggered an error saying setting an edition isn't allowed with online images.

Consider an on-site modification, though a fresh setup would be preferable if the current system blocks upgrades.

Sure, I'll make sure to adjust that for you. Let me know if you need anything else!

I experienced the same issue before. Reach out to Microsoft's customer support for assistance, and they will help resolve it. After that, you can proceed with using it.
