Choose a 64GB RAM for your Ryzen 5900x setup. Your system includes a 3080 Ti GPU, RM850x power supply, and an ROG STRIX X570-E gaming MBO. Let me know if you need further help!

Tell me your budget and whether you're okay with purchasing two sticks now to accommodate up to 128GB later.

I own a 32GB Trident Z Neo F4-3600C16D-32GTZN which performs excellently with my 5900x.

No funds are available, yet I’m open to purchasing 128GB or even DDR5 storage within the next couple of years.

You won't be able to use DDR5 with Ryzen 5000 series chips. If you need space for 128GB, consider a 64GB configuration with two 32GB modules. These options are very costly, particularly when aiming for fast speeds with minimal delays. The Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16 with two 32GB sticks is priced at $500 on Amazon right now. You might find savings by choosing CL18 for $400. For development purposes, bandwidth usually matters more than latency, especially during compilation and builds.
