Hi,
I have two hard drives—one connected to my operating system and the other for C: and F: storage. Everything functioned well until recently. Now, upon booting, I encounter the error: Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or insert... In the BIOS setup, instead of seeing Windows, I see a Hard Drive with no option to switch to Windows. Removing the SATA and power cables from the back of the F: drive restores everything to normal, allowing me to start my computer properly. However, reattaching it causes the error again.
I’m trying to figure out why this issue occurs suddenly.

Try using different SATA and power cables along with a different port.
