Hello. I'm trying to increase the clock speed of an i5 6600k on an Asus Z170-A motherboard. Could you advise on the expected performance gains? A good cooler would allow up to around 4.7 Ghz, and the Cryorig H7 might reach that unless there are issues with the CPU. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Hello, ToiletBurglar:
I'm trying to overclock an i5 6600k on an Asus Z170-A motherboard. Could you share what overclocking results I can expect? A good cooler would allow up to around 4.7 Ghz, and the Cryorig H7 might push it even higher unless there are issues with the CPU itself. Thanks for the advice!

The setup will vary based on your specific CPU and performance goals—some models perform well at 6600K while others struggle. The H7 is a solid option.

Tradesman1 shared their thoughts on rig selection, mentioning that OC depends on your CPU and desired performance level. They recommend the H7 as a solid option.
