I've been attempting to get my 3.5 jacks to function, but it seems my computer is resistant to installing Realtek. I tried the Asus website, followed the forum instructions, used DDU and SS3 cleaner, and even reinstalled chipset drivers and downloaded Armoury Crate. Still, I can't locate Realtek in Task Manager, Services, or Device Manager. I don't know what to do next.

What is the model of your mainboard? Is the built-in audio converter active within your system settings?

What device in Windows is set as the default for sound playback?

In Device Manager, are there any entries with error indicators?

Attempt this action: open BIOS, turn off the audio adapter, save settings, then restart. After full system boot, return to BIOS and turn on the audio. Save again and restart. Check if Windows recognizes new devices.

I attempted this, but nothing actually occurs. I’m confused because the Realtek audio drivers appear in the control panel, yet they aren’t visible in the task manager or device manager.
