This might not be the problem you're facing—check out this timed video for about ten minutes or the full content. It seems like useful information that applies to the current Skyrim version or my modified setup.

Thanks a lot, I'll proceed! Edited: I noticed that video earlier, which is why I'm applying that memory trick—it works great. I can create many guards without any issues. I plan to remove the afterburner now.

Avoid removing it during startup. Ensure it doesn’t run in Skyrim unless necessary. It might not be affecting performance significantly, especially without high FPS demands or GPU usage.

I also have an EVGA Precision. So far I've played for an hour without any issues... I won't rush in excitement until I try more tomorrow, but I remain hopeful... it looks like the afterburner might be the reason right now. Thanks a lot!

@ MoonSpot it froze once more without the afterburner, honestly I have no idea what else to try. This mod only functioned for me the first time I used it, now it doesn't. I'm switching to Mod Organizer. It seems both VRAM and RAM are fine now. Edit: When I say it doesn't work, I mean the in-game counters still display correctly. Edit 2: Here Edit 3: I'm completely wiping everything and re-downloading Skyrim from scratch.

I'm unsure about the details. It seems like everything was cleared and everything was rebuilt from the beginning. I wouldn't have guessed it was a load order, a bad mod update, or an UGRID problem. I don’t know much about the most popular mods mentioned in your link. What does Travel by Arrow refer to? It looks like it might be locked by the author. When you use Loot, are you accessing it through Mod Organizer? There’s a time when I see a popup in MO that changes the loot order, which probably explains why the game feels more stable now with 200 mods on a low-end rig. Would it be difficult to drop SLI and see how the game runs on a single GPU? Maybe look into some optimizations for better performance and less bloat. You can also find mini maps that help without affecting quality, though you can opt for lower resolution if preferred.

Travel by Arrow is a spell that directs you to its landing spot. I played the game with minimal modifications (SkyUI, SKSE, SkyTweaks) and it still froze. I’m downloading everything from Strach to ensure everything is current and following this clean installation guide. Yes, I use LOOT and all other programs via MO. I regret not mentioning a test with just one card—it froze completely and caused inconsistent FPS compared to SLI. I’ll share my experience tomorrow, especially considering my slow internet connection. Edit: Do you have a link for ModWatch? I’d love to see your mod list.

In fact, I wasn't trying to hint that the mod page might be hidden by the author, which raises doubts about its functionality. That's positive news. However, it complicates resolving the problem. Let's refocus. No, I don't rely on modwatch. I'm a bit uneasy about the antivirus alert on the d/l page. Plus, my current experience feels like that of a fierce lesbian succubus with Morrigan's goals—bringing forth ancient deities. My mods often include overly sexual themes and the 'slut shout' feature, plus other less wholesome actions. It's clear our Skyrim is very different, and it might be wise to keep it closed for many. Still, now that my Skyrim has some attractive characters, it feels more balanced. But if you're curious, there are resources like loverslab; some of them can make me feel a bit too refined.

Take it easy, I was just busy at work. It doesn’t look like the hardware is the problem. You’re clearly reinstalling the game now—can you let me know what happens afterward?
