I'm frustrated by this unpredictable freezing that happens anytime, stopping my PC completely and making it impossible to play for more than an hour. I've tried everything to fix it—removed the GPUs, cleaned them thoroughly, even checked VRAM usage. My game doesn't freeze at all, just shuts down entirely. I've also run other titles and seen similar issues, but nothing lasts long. I really want to enjoy Skyrim without interruptions. I've used Performance Monitor, kept RAM under 2GB, and never reached 2.5GB. Mods are present but not affecting the problem. I've moved mods, removed many, yet it still freezes. I'm unsure what's causing this or how to resolve it.

Run the test without any modifications and observe the results.

Yes, I use the iwi.ini file as a default configuration. It's a pre-set .ini file, and I've already fixed the related problem.

Five continuous hours with no breaks. This hasn't been covered in any guide. Edit: Checking EWIS Skyrim settings now.

Yes, EWIS is correct. Apologies for the mistake.

Do you have your own graphics card? It seems like a VRAM temperature problem I experienced. Combining afterburner and enboost together caused issues.

Sorry for the delayed reply, just testing. My cards are brand new, I rely on afterburner to monitor temps, VRAM and RAM usage—only that. I’ve also played without ENBoost and it’s still the same... Maybe I’m really unlucky with this game.

You might want to explore SKSE features that work better with it, like Rivatuner, which has been mentioned on Reddit as helpful for some users. It seems the FPS counter is likely activated by pressing the * key. I'm having trouble finding detailed FAQs or feature lists, but I don't see any embedded temp monitors. The FPS counter might be related to ENB functionality—my understanding is a bit unclear today.

Yea, I'm loopy. It's an ENB feature. http://enbdev.com/doc_skyrim_input_en.htm

Now that you note it, I keep afterburner active while gaming... I’m worried it might be the reason for the freezing. Once I’m back home, I’ll turn it off.
