Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out the best way to build a system using older Xeons like the e5-2620v3, e5-2658v3, e5-2640v3 or e5-2678v3. These models are super budget-friendly and offer multiple cores, which is great for my needs. However, I’m a bit confused about whether they all support DDR3 ECC on this X99 motherboard. ⬇ ↙ If you want to be sure, the e5-2678v3 seems to work with both ECC and regular DDR3, but I’m not entirely confident about the others.
