RDR2
RDR2
I've never played a Red before, so it's completely new to me. The graphics are really nice, the price is average, and there have been some driver updates that help fix issues.
I use a 4790K with 16GB RAM, 1070 G1, and a few SSDs. Will it still look good with settings reduced?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this game (excluding Epic)?
Demanding Game - but if you adjust the settings for a very high quality radius around the player, and let the details fade with distance it'll work just fine without you thinking it's the next "Can it run Crysis".
It’s really important to start here, setting values against the console and keeping your mindset consistent with this info in the video and adjusting variables accordingly.
You might not expect Xbox1X to have a lower than low setting... the game scales quite well, allowing those not needing an ultra setting to share these insights with friends.
You can run it on much less powerful hardware, but there will be trade-offs.
The best part is the numerous options, which let you fine-tune some aspects really effectively.
Then maybe here...

Lets put it this way.. I have a 2080ti and I cant run it on ultra at 1440p.. gives me FPS in the 30s. Have to turn everything down to high to get FPS in the 65-80. You can buy it directly from Rockstar or wait until December when it will be available on Steam.
That said, This is also my first Red Dead game as well. The gameplay if amazing. Has an amazing story, great characters and character development throughout the story. It is very very long story, but worth every second of it so far. That said, I do have a TON of problems with it crashing even to this day. I am on the latest Nvidia drivers, 441.20 and latest BIOS for my board as well that includes the 1.0.0.4b agesa update. I have only played the story mode so far though so it could be different in the online world since thats server based and not local client as much.
Not RDR2, honestly. There was a significant quality decline from high to low. I tried it recently and couldn't tolerate it after around 10 minutes, so I went back to check.
1. Issues persist, occasionally failing to start and risking crashes during play
2. Very high demands, considering my laptop's specs—1060 with 720p is a possibility
GPU usage is significantly higher than CPU usage for an open world AAA title, we've encountered worse performance (Assassin's Creed Origins/Odyssey)
