Hi Guys,
RDR 2 on my PC looks very blurry now. The close-up details are clear, but moving around makes distant textures appear hazy. Even the character looks blurry. I recently reset my PC, and it was still okay before. My laptop has a 4K screen, but I play at 1080p. Other games work fine. Do you have any suggestions for fixing this?

Tell me about your laptop's specifications and the game settings you're using. The game requires a lot of resources, so your laptop uses slower desktop processors to manage heat.

When I played rdr2 on my 1440p display and lowered it to 1080, the game appeared blurry. On a 1080p screen, it looked normal!
I own an Nvidia GPU and don’t recall the exact settings, but using the GeForce Experience overlay with sharpening options helped reduce the blurriness in the game.
Sorry, I can’t help further—this was at the beginning of the year, so searching should find a solution.

Yeah, the issue seems to be with how your display handles scaling. This isn't related to the game or your PC's hardware, just a display problem. Also, Nvidia's new sharpening tool doesn't need to be activated through the Nvidia Overlay. You can turn it on and tweak it in NCP before starting the game. In fact, the overlay from Nvidia might cause issues in certain games, so I usually avoid using it.

I looked up a lot on Google, but none of those solutions worked for me. The game was okay before. After resetting, everything started looking blurry. Now it's not just RDR2 that's affected—I think some settings were changed.
