I previously owned the Turtle Beach x12 with surround sound, but it didn’t work well and eventually broke. My first choice was the Razer Kraken USB because it was affordable and had good surround sound. However, I found the audio quality to be poor, especially in the bass and mids. Now I’m considering the Razer Kraken Neon, but I want surround sound again and am unsure if it’s possible to get it (since it’s digital). I’m looking for options within a budget of around $50 to $70.
I owned the Razer Kraken Pros. Avoid purchasing them. For a headset with a microphone that appears decent and delivers solid sound quality, opt for the HyperX Cloud 1. Sennheiser provides excellent headers; although I don’t know the specific models, you can purchase a dedicated mic separately for them.
