It functions properly. It doesn’t remove you from your games and includes an in-game overlay. It tends to take a while to open additional windows.
I try it with two friends and it works well. A plus is you don’t need a server like TeamSpeak (though it’s not too complicated). The audio quality is solid—it’s significantly better than what Skype provides right now. One drawback is occasional issues where calls or messages stop, no sound, login problems, etc. It can be frustrating, and I haven’t faced those issues with TeamSpeak yet. The interface is compact and doesn’t interfere much. There’s no video chat support at the moment, but that shouldn’t be a big issue since it’s mainly for gaming and casual chats. It’s ideal if you prefer not to set up a server, value good sound, and want a smooth experience most of the time. It falls short if you need video calls, want something more advanced, or have limited patience. Overall it’s decent and a solid alternative to Skype, TeamSpeak, or Mumble. I should note it’s still in beta, so most bugs should be fixed soon.
I use it with all my friends and it works really well. The audio is much clearer now compared to when we relied on Skype, which had issues like accidental 'alt-tab' actions or needing to restart a call when the host left. With this platform, you just join or leave rooms whenever you want. Overall it's quite stable even though it's still in beta. The overlay could use some improvements, but the program is simple and easy to explain to others, which was important for convincing my friends to switch from Skype. Plus, it has a minimal impact on the computer’s resources based on my experience.
