The audio quality on my headset is excellent, but the microphone performance is poor. It sounds significantly worse than the one in my cheap dollar-store headset. I’m unsure if there’s a solution to improve it or if the mic itself is of low quality. Since this headset cost $120, I expected a better microphone for recording purposes.

Adjust your sound settings to ensure all other devices are turned off, regardless of their appearance. It would be beneficial to have detailed information about all your hardware components, including any add-ons or peripherals. Knowing the exact Windows version and build number is also important. The BIOS version on your motherboard would be particularly useful.
