Check your i7 8700k at 4.8ghz and see if raising the ring ratio to 44 helps. A ratio of 48 might be too high depending on your setup. What’s the point of ring ratio?

It's not essential at all, though you might consider boosting it more if your core multiplier isn't reaching its limit.

You achieved solid improvements by raising the uncore value. I don’t recall the exact numbers, but boosting it from 43 to 47 on your 5GHz 8700K helped.
